American Red Cross - Healthcare Training

Choose the links below to register for classes. If a course is not listed on our upcoming schedule, we are happy to organize a class. Some classes such as BLS can be offered as a Review (similar to renewal) for expiring certifications or combined with other courses including Bloodborne Pathogens and Asthma Inhaler Training. These classes are American Red Cross certification - please consult with your employer regarding certification requirements prior to BLS, ALS, or PALS registration.

Teaches students to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants. Includes one and two person CPR, AED, primary assessment, ventilations (including bag valve mask), and choking. Upon completion of course and skills evaluation student will receive a two year certificate.

Designed for those who are at risk for on the job exposure to blood and other bodily fluids in the workplace. This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. After taking this course, students should talk with their employer about their workplace’s specific policies and procedures. Those who complete the training receive a Bloodborne Pathogens Training certification valid for one year. 

Basic Life Support (BLS) is designed for healthcare providers and first responders. This Basic Life Support course meets AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC, and covers breathing and cardiac emergencies - including CPR, AED, and obstructed airway - for adult, child, and infant patients. Please discuss with your employer or agency regarding BLS certification requirements prior to registering.

Advanced Life Support (ALS) is designed for healthcare providers and first responders. This Advanced Life Support course meets ILCOR and AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC, Topics discussed include BLS, crew resource management and critical thinking, airway and respiratory arrest, tachycardia, bradycardia and cardiac arrest, stroke, coronary syndrome and opioid overdose. Please discuss with your employer or agency regarding ALS certification requirements prior to registering.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is designed for healthcare providers and first responders. This Pediatric Advanced Life Support course meets ILCOR and AHA Guidelines for CPR/ECC, Topics discussed include BLS, crew resource management and critical thinking, airway and respiratory arrest, tachycardia, bradycardia and cardiac arrest, shock, and opioid overdose. Please discuss with your employer or agency regarding PALS certification requirements prior to registering.
